Nokia Lumia 1020 Specs Leaked – Features 41 MegaPixel PureView Camera

The Nokia Lumia 1020 is due to be officially launched today and we’ve managed to get our hands on the technical specifications of the device.  There has been some confusion over the device, as to whether it’s a camera or a phone. It’s been through several name changes – the Nokia Elvis, Nokia EOS and finally the Lumia 1020.

According to the leaked document, here are the supposed specs of the new camera phone:
  • 4.5” AMOLED WXGA display, 1280 x 768 resolution
  • 2.5D Gorilla Glass 3, super touch for use with gloves, fingernails etc.
  • PureMotion HD+ Graphics
  • 1.5GHz dual-core Snapdragon processor
  • 32GB Internal Storage
  • 2GB RAM
  • 2000mAh battery with a  standby of 16 days
  • PureView 41 megapixel camera
  • 1.2 megapixel wide-angle front camera, HD
  • Windows Phone 8

It’s also said to support LTE network bands 1,3,7,8 and 20 and has WLAN a/b/g/n.  It has USB 2.0 and Bluetooth 3.0 connections along with NFC with added SIM card security.  Storage is increased by the addition of a 7GB SkyDrive Cloud storage account and the screen can be read in bright sunlight.
At just 10.4mm thick, the Nokia Lumia 1020 is a little slimmer than the 920, and it weighs 158 grams, or 5.5oz, which is around 43 grams heavier than the iPhone 5.  Ti does come with a few optional extras. While wireless charging has not been integrated into the handset, it is available through a clip on cover accessory. There is also an original Nokia Camera grip which includes a universal tripod mount and a built in battery to extend usage of the camera.
Maximum talk time, average on 3G usage stands at around 13.3 hours with video playback of 6.8 hours and music playback of an impressive 63 hours. It will be available in just 3 colors – black, white and yellow.
